No. Chase the Ace is a skill-based promotional prize competition. The result depends entirely on whether you hole a tee shot in one stroke from the designated tee, under the R&A Rules of Golf — there is no element of chance, no draw and no randomisation. We operate under UK prize-competition rules.

How are prizes funded?

Prizes are fixed, insured promotional prizes underwritten on a per-competition basis. We do NOT run a player-funded rolling jackpot or accumulating pool — entry fees do not become the prize. The advertised amount is what a verified winner receives.

Is there a free entry route?

How is the prize paid?

Once a hole-in-one claim is verified by our team (usually within 48 hours) and identity checks are complete, the prize is paid directly to your nominated UK bank account via Stripe, typically within 7 business days.

What counts as a valid hole-in-one?

Accepted Answer

A shot taken from the official competition tee box that comes to rest in the cup as a direct result of the first ball struck, during an official round at the partner club, in compliance with the R&A Rules of Golf. Mulligans, re-tees and practice strokes do not count.

How is verification done?

Multiple tee-box and green cameras automatically record every attempt. Our verification team reviews footage and timestamps, checks course and tee, seeks witness confirmation where available, and verifies the winner's identity before any prize is paid.

What's your refund policy?

Entries are fully refundable up until the moment you tee off on the competition hole. Once a shot has been taken the entry is used and is non-refundable. If a competition is cancelled, full automatic refunds are issued within 3 business days.

Who can enter?

Anyone aged 18 or over, resident in the UK, playing at a participating partner club. You don't need a handicap.
