Official Rules

These Official Rules govern entry into all Chase the Ace skill-based hole-in-one competitions ("Competitions") promoted by Flagstick Events Ltd [company number TO BE COMPLETED] of [registered address TO BE COMPLETED] ("the Promoter").

1. Nature of the competition

Chase the Ace is a skill-based promotional prize competition in which the outcome is determined solely by the entrant's ability to hole a tee shot in a single stroke from the designated tee box. No element of chance, draw or randomisation is involved in determining a winner.

2. Eligibility

3. How to enter

Entries are made by scanning the tee-box QR code at a participating Competition hole and completing payment of the published entry fee. A free, no-purchase-necessary postal entry route is available — see our Free Entry page.

4. Skill requirement and Rules of Golf

5. Verification

Every attempt is recorded by on-course tee-box and green cameras. A claim is only valid if independent review confirms a hole-in-one made under the conditions in section 4. The Promoter's verification decision is final. See the Prize Verification Policy for full detail.

6. Prizes

Prizes are fixed, insured promotional prizes underwritten on a per-competition basis. The advertised prize value is the amount payable to a single verified winner. Only one main prize is awarded per competition hole per calendar day. If multiple verified holes-in-one occur on the same hole on the same day, the first verified successful shot (determined by timestamp and independent camera review) wins the advertised prize. Any subsequent verified hole-in-one on that hole on the same day may be recognised with a secondary skill reward but does not receive the main prize. Prizes are paid in GBP to the verified winner's nominated UK bank account, typically within 7 business days of verification and completion of identity checks.

7. Identity and winner checks

Before payment, verified winners must complete identity verification and confirm handicap, tee and course details. See our AML & Fraud Prevention statement.

8. Disqualification

The Promoter may disqualify any entry that breaches these rules, the Rules of Golf, partner club rules, or that the Promoter reasonably suspects to be fraudulent.

9. Refunds and cancellation

See our Refund Policy.

10. Liability and governing law

The Promoter's liability is limited to the value of the entry fee paid, except where liability cannot be excluded by law. These Rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
